Anyway… now that we got that out of the way. Let me get to story. *clears throat* (in my Moesha voice):

Sometimes the universe has a weird way of pushing you exactly where you need to be. Three months ago, I was about to accept my dream role – Head of AMER Marketing & GTM at a $1B fintech.

Had just driven $20M in pipeline. And was fully ready to scale the blueprint. Everything was aligned. I was literally vibrating with energy.

Then out of nowhere: the company shut down.

I have been in fintech and finance for a minute now and I have never seen a 10-year unicorn evaporate just like that. Gave serious Thanos infinity stone vibes.

At first, I tried not to take it personally. Hundreds of people had just lost their jobs after all. Why was I making this about me? As hard as I tried not to (because like…who the hell am I lol), it still felt as though the universe was screaming LOUDLY.

The Patterns You Can't Unsee

But here's the thing about being an XIR: When you see patterns others miss, you can't unsee them.

And what I kept seeing for the last 3 years was painful:

  • B2B growth getting more expensive and less human

  • Community leaders with real impact struggling to prove ROI

  • Relationships being sacrificed for metrics

  • Different approaches being forced into old boxes

That's when it slapped me in the face and called me Sally:

I wasn't meant to solve this from inside someone else's company. I had to build the bridge myself.

So I did what any reasonable person would do: I went to Brasil. Sat under a tree. And pondered life (you know, as one does when processing a company shutdown 😂).

And asked myself the real question:

"What if the gap isn't just a problem... but an opportunity?"

Because 4 years of driving community growth at top fintechs taught me:

It takes someone special to build a community. But it takes someone skillful to turn that community into a revenue engine.

And that's exactly what we're missing:

The bridge between community and commerce.
The translation between relationships and revenue.
The proof that different drives better results.

Building the Bridge

So allow me to reintroduce myself:
I'm Jeanine Suah, Cofounder & CEO of Bridg.

We’re making moves already. $47K MRR closed. 2 products in development. things are moving. It really is exciting.

My #1 goal now is to be an advocate for us. To start to educate the world and what those building at the intersection can truly do when they just get out of our way.

How to Build Your Own Bridge

Quick framework for my fellow bridge builders:
When you see a gap others miss, ask yourself:

  1. Why hasn't this been solved?

  2. What unique perspective do I bring?

  3. Who else needs this bridge?

The answers might surprise you.
(They might even lead you to sit under a tree in Brasil 😉

My dream isn't just to build bridges.

Where our weird becomes our worth.
And where we can bridge the gap between traditional and unconventional.
